Memory Cafe seeks friendly volunteers

23rd August 2019, 9:04am | By Joanna Pazucha |

Could you spare one evening each month to help at our Memory Café in Warminster?

Alzheimer’s Support is looking for volunteers to provide a friendly welcome, serve a light buffet supper and help clear away at our newest café.

The café provides an enjoyable and informative social occasion for people living with dementia and their families.  Many of our guests have met new friends at the café and found that dementia need not be such an isolating experience.

The café meets early evening at Warminster Dementia Centre on the last Monday of each month.

We will provide training in Dementia Awareness and full briefing on the work of Alzheimer’s Support.  We are a friendly supportive team and you will have the on-going support of our café facilitator.

To find out more contact Annie Clayton on 01225 776 481 or   anniec@alzheimerswiltshire.org.uk      or visit our website https://www.alzheimerswiltshire.org.uk/
