Grant Funding Available through Westbury Area Board

16th October 2020, 1:56pm | By graememorrison |

Westbury Community Area Board has grant funding available for community groups from around the community area.

Funding is available for projects which are of benefit to the local community and groups who are interested in applying are encouraged to come forward.

Community Engagement Manager, Graeme Morrison, said “We have funding every year and the grants are awarded at Community Area Board meetings. Because we have been unable to hold meetings due to the pandemic we are around half way through the financial year and still have a significant amount of our budget remaining. I would encourage community groups to get in touch with me to discuss your project.”

Funding is available for any capital projects that a group are thinking about. It is also possible to apply for funding to meet revenue costs if the project is specifically aimed at young people, or aimed at improving the health wellbeing of the community.

To get hold of Graeme Morrison you can either call him on 07986 365943, email graeme.morrison@wiltshire.gov.uk or follow him on Twitter here.

Alternatively you can see the criteria and start your application via the area boards page of the Wiltshire Council website here.
