Day Club Volunteer

27th November 2020, 7:02am | By Annie Clayton |

We are looking for volunteers to support members at our award-winning day club for people with dementia in Trowbridge.  Our volunteers offer a friendly welcome, engage members in conversations, support them in individual or small group activities and assist in providing refreshments throughout the day.

This would suit someone who is caring, empathetic, has good communication skills and is willing to get involved in a variety of activities.  An extremely rewarding team role with training in dementia awareness and on-going support provided.  This roles also requires two referees and a DBS check.
