Hospice Care Hero Walk

Hospice Care Hero Walk

Over the last 12 years the Bath Moonlight Walk has raised over £1m to support Dorothy House. This year, the event has been reinvigorated with a superhero injection to become the Hospice Care Hero Walk!
Taking place on Saturday 7 September from 6pm the walk goes through the stunning grounds of Bath Spa University Campus. Walkers choose a 1km, 5km or 10km route that passes through hero-themed zones followed by a superhero-themed party. Dress up as your favourite superhero, use the walk to remember a special hero in your life or to celebrate the heroes providing care at Dorothy House.
Sponsorship makes a massive difference to patient care: £28 could pay for an hour’s time of a Nurse Specialist, delivering care to patients in our community and £180 could pay for a full night of a Hospice at Home carer’s time, allowing a patient’s family to get some much-needed rest.
The Hospice’s work touches so many lives and is completely free of charge.
