Building Heroes construction course in Trowbridge and Salisbury

The Building Heroes charity runs a free 5-week Level 1 Property Maintenance course for all veterans and service leavers (also including close family members), and we particularly look to engage with those who are unemployed or early service leavers with limited resettlement options.

The charity opened its centre at Wiltshire College in Trowbridge (BA14 0ES) in September – we have other centres in West Sussex, Essex, Hampshire  and Cheshire. We are also running courses from Wiltshire College’s Salisbury centre next academic year.

Courses dates are:
16 Sept – 18 Oct
11 Nov – 13 Dec (also Salisbury)
13 Jan – 14 Feb (also Salisbury)
2 Mar – 3 Apr (also Salisbury)
20 Apr – 22 May
8 Jun – 10 Jul

Those successfully completing the course gain a:

• City and Guilds Level 1 in Property Maintenance qualification
• Level 1 Health and Safety Certificate
• CSCS card.

We aim to support anyone attending the course in to employment (through our network of national construction companies), self-employment or further training in the industry upon completion.

If you are interested in applying please complete the form on our website.  www.buildingheroes.org.uk.
