Wiltshire Music Centre is offering an exceptional opportunity to join its small and vibrant team as Director of Development. This role requires an efficient, highly motivated and tactful individual with significant experience of fundraising in the arts / charitable sector, business development skills, as well as a passion for working with people.
The role has overall responsibility for delivering the Centre’s fundraising and development strategy to secure gifts from individuals, Trusts & Foundations and businesses to support the Centre’s core artistic and Creative Learning programmes. The role also supports the development of new business and income streams in order to grow both contributed and earned income.
The Director of Development is part of the Senior Management Team and reports directly to the Chief Executive & Artistic Director, and is responsible for leading a team of two consisting of the Trusts & Foundations Manager (0.4 FTE) and Fundraising Coordinator (0.4 FTE).
