Wessex Water Environment Fund – Funding opportunity for environmental projects Grants up to £1,500 – open for applications 3rd May – 4th June

Wiltshire Community Foundation are delighted to be working with Quartet, Somerset and Dorset Community Foundations to deliver the Wessex Water Environment Fund across the South West region.

The Wessex Water Environment Fund supports charitable and community activities which improve the local environment and have a positive impact on the quality of life for the local area.  Funding is limited to local organisations in the Wessex Water area. 

Wessex Water Environment Fund Grants are targeted at organisations where a small amount of money can make a significant difference.

Grants are up to £1,500.

It is important that groups thinking of applying carefully consider the criteria and priorities.  You will find more detailed information on our website: https://www.wiltshirecf.org.uk/grants-and-support/groups/wessex-water-environment-fund/

Grants must be for projects addressing at least one of the following: 

  • conservation of water use
  • reduction of single use plastic
  • reducing waste
  • improvements in local biodiversity

Groups must be able to provide evidence of at least one of the following: 

  • Involves communities in environmental activities that benefit the local area
  • Has a positive impact on the local environment
  • Shares learning about the local environment with others 

Applications can be from a*:

Community group with a constitution

Registered charity

Community Interest Company or Not-for-profit Company (certain requirements apply – see guidelines),

School

Town or Parish Council.
