Soundwell Music Group for Carers

6th September 2018, 10:59am | By catherinerussell |

Soundwell Music Therapy Trust run supportive music groups for unpaid carers. These groups are a chance for carers to take a break, meet other carers and explore making sounds and music together. There is no need for any musical skills or experience as the focus is on creativity and expression. In our experience, this can sometimes feel relaxing and can also sometimes offer a way to release some frustration. The groups are run by qualified music therapists. The group in Trowbridge is once a month on a Friday at Bethesda Baptist Church Hall. Sessions are free and parking is available. For more information please contact Kim Roberts on 07938679667 or kim.roberts@soundwell.org.uk.
