Alzheimer’s Support is an award-winning charity which works to improve the lives of families affected by dementia.
Lunch time is a focal point in our day at our club in Trowbridge and we are looking for cooking volunteers to help support this vital activity. You will prepare simple healthy meals for up to 28 people using food supplied by Fare-share, Tesco and other supporters.
You’ll be chopping, boiling, frying, mixing, peeling, serving and washing up but most of all you’ll be having fun, and may even have the occasional helper from the club!
This role will suit someone interested in cooking generally or as a career in the catering industry.
The club opens from Tuesday to Friday every week, however, your commitment can be a day each week, month or as negotiated with our club manager. Ideally, hours are between 10am – 1pm.
