Community Prize Bingo returns to Longfield Community Centre

14th September 2022, 4:25pm | By Zoe Meaden |

Following consultation from local residents on what activities they would like to see on the etstate, Trowbridge Future are delighted to announce the return of the much loved and missed Community Prize Bingo. The event launches on Saturday 1st October.  Doors open at 6:15pm, eyes down at 7pm.

Trowbridge Future is an independent charity and has been running since 1995, staffed by 8 staff and a team of dedicated volunteers. Trowbridge Future aims to respond to the needs and concerns of local residents and young people. This will be achieved by providing local people with opportunities to come together, build stronger relationships, help local people feel better about where they live and support them to improve their community and the things that matter to them.

Their origins go back to the 1990s when a group of local residents and business people set up a group called Trowbridge Twenty Twenty, to identify key local issues, devise projects and work to shape the long-term future of the town.

Trowbridge Future run a series of youth cafes across the disadvantaged communities of Trowbridge: Longfield, Seymour and Studley Green and hosts two Community Hubs, one in The Shires Shopping Centre and one on the Seymour Estate providing advice and support to Trowbridge’s most vulnerable residents. Trowbridge Future also supports developing the needs and capacity of local neighbourhood and community associations.

You don’t need to book, just turn up and join in!
