Committee Chairman – Position Available

10th March 2020, 11:14am | By Clair Matthews |

We are looking for a very special person to take over from Martin Coles, Chair of our Management Committee after 15 years.

Stepping Stones is an Opportunity Group for children with special needs in the West Wiltshire area. “Special Needs” being the term we use for identifying children who will benefit from specific therapy and support to help meet their potential. Children from birth to five, with varying levels of need attend the group. Stepping Stones operates as the District Specialist Centre for West Wiltshire and is based in Trowbridge. This January we were rated Outstanding in our latest Ofsted inspection for the 4th consecutive time.

The Management Committee have overall responsibility for the Control and Management of Stepping Stones, however The Manager of Stepping Stones assumes day to day responsibilities. The main role of the Chair of the Management Committee is to support this work when appropriate.

As a Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee it is important that we find someone to take on this vital role.  We are also still looking for someone willing to take on the role of Treasurer

If you are interested in finding our more details about either of these voluntary positions please speak to Debbie or Barbara, Email: admin@steppingstonestrowbridge.co.uk Tel: 01225 350004

Martin would also be happy to speak to anyone wanting to find out more.
