People caring for a relative with dementia at home can find invaluable support and information at Alzheimer’s Support’s free online training course which starts this month.
The Wiltshire charity is running six weekly sessions on Monday mornings from 31st January. The friendly and relaxed course offers practical advice and information about various forms of dementia, how the condition may affect your relative, and guidance about the financial and legal aspects of caring. It’s also a chance to connect with others in a similar situation and with professionals who can help. The course is free although there is a £10 refundable booking fee.
