Paths for all project marching on

11th July 2019, 10:43pm | By richardrogers |

The Tidworth Area Board is supporting a project to improve an make greater use of our local rights of way. Following a successful workshop, a steering group was formed consisting of key stakeholders, Parish Council reps and other people who would like to get involved.

The steering group has met once already and some Parish Councils have already started to work together through their newly formed Avon Valley Walking Group

On Wednesday 17th July at 7pm in Collingbourne Kingston Hall we are meeting again on order to hear from the Visit Pewsey Vale group who have already done some of what we wish to do including the creation and promotion of local walks. If you would like to get involved then please do come along and join us.,

We are also keen to explore how we can make the rights of way more accessible to all including the young and those who are less able. We would particularly like anyone who wishes to take that work forward to join us.

If you are doing anything to promote walking then do let me know so we can help publicise it for you.
