Masks grow on trees

28th May 2020, 12:32pm | By richardrogers |

Every day I hear about a new innovative idea to support local communities. This one was started by a resident in Amesbury and has spread to areas around including the Tidworth area.

People are making masks and putting them on trees where people can take them either free or by giving a donation. It is a great idea that can easily be replicated in other places

Netheravon has a mask tree and Enford has a mask stop. Between them they have put out about 500 masks and raised over £600. Whilst there is demand, they are continuing to sew.
