Rural Community Energy Fund – Applicant’s Workshop

The RCEF is a grant fund designed to help communities to develop their own local, clean and renewable sources of energy generation which benefit their locality and the wider environment.

– Phase I of the scheme offers up to £40,000 for a feasibility study.

– Phase II of the scheme offers up to £100,000 to cover further project development costs.

To help Community Groups, Parish Councils and registered social landlords make strong and eligible applications for funding, the Regional Energy Hub is holding a workshop in conjunction with Wiltshire Council and Swindon and Wiltshire Local Economic Partnership.

The event will be on Monday 25 November 2019 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm at the Council Chamber in Wiltshire Council’s Monkton Park offices, Chippenham.

This event will provide a short introduction to applying for funds and there will be plenty of time to ask questions and network with other local community energy groups.

The event is free, but you should reserve your place

If you cannot attend, but know someone who would be interested, please pass on this invitation

For more information about RCEF please email: SWenergyhub@westofengland-ca.gov.uk
