The 12 week government-backed programme is launching locally, and will help business leaders to take their business to the next level.

The government-backed Help to Grow Management course is opening the door to growth for Wiltshire business leaders.

Wiltshire Council have partnered with the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) to deliver this exciting programme locally, which includes 50 hours of in-depth training, one-to-one business mentoring and the opportunity for business leaders to grow their business, fast.

The 12-week programme costs just £750 and is 90% subsidised by the Government. Business leaders can take part around their existing work commitments and access learning through a blend of online and face-to-face sessions.

Aimed at senior leaders in small and medium businesses, the course covers strategies for growth and innovation, leading high-performance teams and digital adoption, as well as financial management and responsible business practices. They will hear from inspirational business leaders and learn alongside local peers, with access to a national alumni network.

By the end of the programme, business leaders will develop a tailored business growth plan to increase productivity and grow their revenue, and help take their business to the next level.

Cllr Richard Clewer, Leader of Wiltshire Council, said: We are excited to be working with UWE Bristol to deliver this programme locally, with the first Wiltshire-based course commencing on 23 November 2021.

This is a great opportunity for small and medium sized businesses in Wiltshire to access this heavily subsidised course to help them learn new skills, reach more customers and boost their profits. I would encourage any interested businesses to find out more and not miss the opportunity to access this training and support that can help identify the best ways forwards to improve and grow their business.

Dr. Dan Knox, Programme Director of Help to Grow Management at UWE Bristol, said: We at Bristol Business School are delighted to deliver Help to Grow Management and to be able to take it out into the business community to the places where regional SMEs are located.

Businesses can step through the door to growth today and sign up to the course at: UWE: Help to Grow Management course.
