ENFORD FILM CLUB

Tuesday 28 January 7.00 p.m. for 7.30 p.m.

“DOWNTON ABBEY”  The film begins in 1927 about a year after the TV series ended.   Buckingham Palace informs the Crawleys that King George V and Queen Mary will visit Downton Abbey during a royal tour through Yorkshire.. As the Crawleys and their intrepid staff prepare for the most important moment of their lives the royal visit unleashes scandal, romance and intrigue that will leave the future of Downton hanging in the balance.   This film is for all those who miss the popular series screened on Sunday evenings !!  All the usual suspects including Hugh Bonneville, Maggie Smith, Imelda Staunton, Penelope Wilton, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Michelle Dockery

Tuesday 28 April  (“1917” tbc)

 

NB Film Club is generally held on the 4th Tuesday of the month.   Possible future titles : “1917”, “Little Women” “The Current War” “Red Joan” “Vita & Virginia” “Tolkien” “All is True” “Mary Queen of Scots” “Official Secrets” “Cats” “All at Sea” “Angel has fallen” “42nd Street” “Ready or Not”

We always need your help in choosing films – please let us know of any films friends have recommended!  Would love to hear your suggestions.

Doors open at 7.00 p.m. with the bar open until 7.30 p.m. when the film starts.  Tickets £5   Please book in advance if possible to help with the administration!

Lifts can be arranged for anyone who would like to come – so do let us know if you would like to be collected and taken home.
