This October Alzheimer’s Support is asking everyone to don some denim to raise money for people living with dementia in Wiltshire.
The return to schools and offices is the perfect excuse to celebrate with a Denim4Dementia mufti day. Asking everyone to wear denim could be a fun way to team build after months of working from home or weeks away for the school holidays. Why not connect with friends you haven’t seen for a while by holding a denim-themed tea party, hold a community event with blue-iced cakes or dress your dog in a blue bandana for the day. It’s up to you.
Getting involved in Denim4Dementia couldn’t be simpler. To take part:
- Pick any day in October
- Pull on your denim and ask your family, friends and workmates to join in.
- Make a donation to Alzheimer’s Support. £3 is suggested, but any amount will be gratefully received.
- Share your photos using the hashtag #Denim4Dementia, and tagging @AlzheimersSupportWiltshire on Facebook and Instagram, and @AlzheimersSupp on Twitter
And that’s it.
