Carer Support Wiltshire are grateful to the many Wiltshire organisations, business and individuals who have supported their Time for Carers Appeal, but are keen to encourage even more to fundraise for unpaid carers this Christmas.
With Giving Tuesday approaching on 1st December, Carer Support Wiltshire are asking people to think of ways they might be able to fundraise for unpaid carers, who have had an incredibly difficult year.
Examples include taking part in Christmas Hat Day in December – wear a Christmas hat to a work or other online meeting and make a donation.
You can also donate while you shop by nominating Carer Support Wiltshire as your chosen charity when using Give as You Live or Amazon Smile.
The Time for Carers Appeal helps unpaid carers to take a break; paying for those who are struggling with the demands of caring for a loved one around the clock to have some time out for themselves. Many activities have been funded, including theatre trips, yoga sessions, counselling and massages.
