Area Board funding available for Tidworth Area

24th September 2020, 5:00pm | By richardrogers |

Wiltshire Council recognised in it’s 2020/21 budget the importance of supporting local communities. Despite the financial challenges brought by COVID, the council confirmed that the funding it set aside will still be available for Tidworth Area Board to support local initiatives.

We therefore have funding for help with capital projects (buildings & equipment), for work with young people (mainly 13 to 18 years old) and a small amount of money for health and wellbeing work with older people. We have had very few applications with a lot of activities suspended due to COVID. However this may be a great opportunity to  get ready for when we hopefully can all start again or to something a little different to help support those in our community.

You can find out more about all of these at https://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/council-democracy-area-boards

If you want to discuss a possible application, please contact Richard Rogers at richard.rogers@wiltshire.gov.uk
