Area Board funding available for local groups

23rd January 2020, 3:30pm | By richardrogers |

If you are a local voluntary or community group  and could use some additional funding, then please get in touch.

Funding is available within the Tidworth Community Area which covers Tidworth, Ludgershall, the Collingbournes, the Chutes, Netheravon, Fittleton and Enford.

We are nearing the end of the financial year and we still have funding for the following:

Capital items – A capital item is essentially something that is tangible, has  a reasonable value and can be used more than once. Examples include equipment, buildings and vehicles. We can offer up to £1k without match funding and up to £5k with match funding

Youth – Funding aimed primarily at work to support young people in their teens. The use of this funding does not have any restrictions.

Health and Wellbeing – A small amount remains to improve the health and wellbeing of older people or vulnerable adults. There are no restrictions on this funding.

All information on these can be found at http://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/council-democracy-area-boards

The deadline for discussing and informing me that you wish to make an application is Feb 3rd. Completed application forms should be with me by mid February.
