“How can I get a £40,000 grant from the Rural Community Energy Fund?”

To help Community Groups, Parish Councils and registered social landlords make strong and eligible applications for funding, the Regional Energy Hub is holding a workshop in Chippenham to help with proposals. The Rural Community Energy funds enable rural communities to take advantage of the revolution in local and decentralised energy generation.

– Phase I of the scheme offers up to £40,000 for a feasibility study

– Phase II of the scheme offers up to £100,000 to cover further project development costs

This event will provide a short introduction to applying for funds and there will be plenty of time to ask questions and network with other local community energy groups.

The event is free, please book in advance

It will be held at Wiltshire Council offices, Monkton Park, Chippenham, SN15 1ER from 5.30pm

The event is organised by South West Energy Hub working with Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership and Wiltshire Council.
