Young peoples mental health in south west Wiltshire

10th January 2020, 1:07pm | By Karen |

Please join with us on the 29th January, 6.30pm at the Nadder Centre, Tisbury to consider the issue of young people’s mental health.

The debate will be opened by the local Member for Youth Parliament, and facilitated by young people from the Mere based charity Seeds4Success.

When local priorities were last reviewed in 2018, young people’s mental health ranked very high as an issue needing attention and action.

The council’s Commissioner for children and young people’s mental health services will also update us on Wiltshire’s new strategy.  See here for more info on one aspect of that strategy that has been designed by local young people.

The debate will be hosted by the South West Wiltshire Area Board.

Following this debate the board will consider grant applications to its various funding streams from local community groups and organisations.

Give me call on 01722 434697 or email me : Karen.linaker@wiltshire.gov.uk for more information about the area board and this important debate on the 29th January.

I look forward to seeing you there.
