Fun event for young people

13th May 2022, 12:29pm | By Karen |

The South West Wiltshire Area Board has always placed the needs of young people high on its list of local priorities.  We know that support for health and wellbeing, transport, education, skills and employment is crucial for the wellbeing of our youngsters, as it is for us all.

This year, on Friday 29th July from 10am – 3pm, young people from all towns and villages in the South West Wiltshire Community Area can get some much needed care, calm, fun and support by attending the board’s first ever Wellness and Wellbeing event at the Nadder Centre.

The day will be given over to spa treatments, leisure and sport activities, dance, art, yoga, mindfulness, music, food, fun, support and advice.

Please help spread the word about this unique free event.  We are offering transport too for those that need it.

Believe it or not there are around 40 parishes in this community area, and this event is open to all the 13-19 year olds living in these places : Alvediston, Ansty, Barford St Martin, Berwick St John, Berwick St Leonard, Bishopstone, Bowerchalke, Broadchalke, Burcombe Without, Chicklade, Chilmark, Compton Chamberlayne, Dinton, Donhead St Andrew, Donhead St Mary, East Knoyle, Ebbesborne Wake, Fonthill Bishop, Fonthill Gifford, Fovant, Hindon, Kilmington, Mere, Netherhampton, Quidhampton, Sedgehill and Semley, Steeple Langford, Stourton with Gasper, Stratford Tony, Sutton Mandeville, Swallowcliffe, Teffont, Tisbury, Tollard Royal, West Knoyle, West Tisbury, Wilton, Wylye, Zeals

Booking early is essential and places are limited – invite closes on the 8th July.  Here’s the Eventbrite link.

Can’t wait for the 29th July – it will be a good day.
