The Big Avon Paddle

Are you up for the challenge? Sign up to The Big Avon Paddle this September and support patient care at Dorothy House!

Join us as we paddle from The Boathouse, Bath, to Chequers Inn, Bristol, and back again, taking in the fresh air and the gorgeous scenery of the River Avon. The challenge is designed to be a paced event, not a race, and there will be regular stops for refreshments and loo breaks. The event will take around 8 hours, and you can celebrate conquering the challenge with a BBQ at The Boathouse at the end!

Entry for the event costs £20, and we ask participants to raise a £200 sponsorship for Dorothy House. Your entry fee will cover the cost of your event t-shirt, refreshments, and the BBQ at the end of the day. Get on board with our Paddleboard Challenge and you’ll be helping to support patient care here at Dorothy House!
