Firewalk 2021

30th July 2021, 1:24pm | By Alan Elkington | Event Date : 20211008

Can you conquer the coals? Feel the heat this October and take on the Firewalk at Dorothy House!

The event is all about things in life that we make more difficult for ourselves because of how we think or even the idea of a little discomfort. The Firewalk itself is designed to be a metaphor for these challenges.

Taking place on Friday 8 October, we’ll be holding the event at Dorothy House in Winsley. After being prepared by the team from Phoenix Firewalk, you’ll walk barefoot across 10-12 feet of hot coals, leaving you with some fun-filled memories and, hopefully, both feet intact! Participants can invite friends and family along to watch, and there will be refreshments available to purchase.

Event entry costs £30 and participants will receive a free t-shirt to commemorate taking on the challenge! Participants are also asked to raise £200 in sponsorship for Dorothy House, which will go towards patient care in our community.
