Behind the Scenes: Conservation Lab Tour

3rd January 2020, 11:09am | By David | Event Date : 20200122

Brush off those winter blues with a behind the scenes tour of the paper and object labs hidden in the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre. Join Conservation Manager Heather Perry to explore the expertise required to maintain our archives and the range of items we conserve, from prehistoric treasures to modern plastics. You will see conservation in action and a part of the History Centre not normally open to the public. With constantly changing projects it’s a rare chance to get close to the precious items we are currently working on…

£4, limited places – booking essential on 01249 705500 or archives@wiltshire.gov.uk
