The Bath, Wilts and N. Dorset Gliding Club (BWND) is hosting an Open Day on the 29th May from 08:30 onwards. If you are interested in learning to fly or just want to experience the thrill of flying in a glider then have a look at our website at www.bwnd.co.uk for details. £85 will secure a tow plane to take you to 2,000 ft with a highly experienced instructor at the controls and then depending on soaring conditions a flight of up to 30 minutes during which if you want to, you can handle the controls. A fun day out so bring the family, enjoy refreshments at the airfield and have a unique experience.
