Dementia roadmap shows the way

10th July 2020, 11:49am | By Joanna Pazucha |

Alzheimer’s Support has updated its online Dementia Roadmap and Support Village to support people who may be reluctant or unable to leave home because of the coronavirus.
The roadmap offers a step-by-step guide to the diagnosis process in Wiltshire, lots of good advice and a symptoms checker. It’s a great place to start for anyone unsure of where to find help and a very useful tool to use while waiting to see your GP or memory specialist.
The Support Village includes a host of local resources and ideas of where to find all kinds of support from legal services to care to help in the home.
The charity’s staff can also give advice over the phone on 01225 776481 between 9am and 4pm on week days or, in some cases, make home visits.
