We are all gearing up for the next Southern Wiltshire Area Board online public meeting on the 10th February at 7pm, and we are looking forward to seeing you all there – here’s a link to the agenda.
This will be the last of the board’s meetings for 2021/2022, so if you have a grant application you need considering, get it through to me as soon as possible to stand a chance of benefiting from the £25k or so still remaining.
Two very important matters on the agenda so far are – our draft plan for the spring Climate Change event and recommendations for new local youth support. We would love to involve you in the discussions on these topics especially.
The Area Board has an action packed work programme that it has been steadily chipping away at since May 2021, responding to your local priorities, including initiatives for older people support, funding for youth activities, support for schools to achieve the Healthy Schools award, and work to improve communications amongst us all – because it can be very lonely talking to an empty room!
