PCSOs wanted

18th October 2018, 1:46pm | By David |

Wiltshire Police is recruiting for Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) to join our Force.

PCSOs are the eyes and ears of policing, providing operational support to Community Policing Teams across the county.

A varied role where no days are truly the same, PCSOs provide a visible presence at the heart of the community, building link, assisting front line policing in non-confrontational roles, and working closely with partner agencies, including local authorities and housing associations to investigate and solve community problems.

We’re looking for people who are confident and approachable, who have good communication skills, and who really want to make a difference in their local community.

With no upper age limit the role is open to those 18 and over, who have a flexible working approach and have the ability to work on their own and part of a team.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Wednesday 31 October 2018.

Find out more about the role and how to apply at https://www.wiltshire.police.uk/PCSOs
