Help us inform the nation on what older people REALLY think about the COVID19 crisis

I am writing to ask if you might be might be willing to help with an important task we have been asked to undertake: to find out exactly how older people (50+) are being affected by the current crisis, their main concerns, and what support they think should be provided to those most in need.

It is being run by EngAgeNet – you can check out more about us on www.engagenet.org.uk – a national coalition of seven of the regional forums on ageing originally established by the Government in 2010 to act as a voice for older people across England.

The link to the survey is: https://forms.gle/C1E89ykL3EFqv2H87  If you click on that link you should go straight to the survey;  if you have trouble with this link simply copy and paste it into your browser.

The data will be anonymised and your details will not be retained. This is the first of a series we hope to undertake in the weeks and months to come as the situation evolves.

In order to reach as many older people as possible I would be grateful if you would forward this email to any local group or forum that you may be part of.  In addition, if you have a friend or colleague who you think may also help us in this survey, please do send this email on to them:  the more people that take part, the more “clout” it will give our findings.

If you have any concerns at all about the survey, or any questions, please do email me personally at tony@hartleywatts.co.uk.
