Shop Volunteer

23rd August 2019, 12:41pm | By Liz Froud |

Julia’s House has 10 charity shops in Dorset and 2 in Wiltshire. All are bright, cheerful spaces that are carefully organised to showcase our high quality second-hand items and make shopping with Julia’s House an enjoyable experience.

We are looking for volunteers to help support our Salisbury shop and provide an excellent shopping experience for our customers by being friendly, welcoming and helpful; sorting and pricing donations that come in; and keeping the shop floor neat and tidy.

Duties would include:

Sorting goods that come into the shop

Steaming and sizing clothing

Serving customers on the till

Keeping the shop floor and back of shop areas clean and tidy

Person specification:

Ability to work in a team

Friendly, polite, and welcoming

Hours:

Various shifts available throughout the week, and we offer flexibility to suit you

Previous experience is not necessary as full training is given.

If you would like more information contact Liz Froud on 01202 644220 or email liz.froud@juliashouse.org. Alternatively, pop into the shop to meet our great team: Unit 2 The Bridge, 3 Fisherton Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP2 7SU.
