Salisbury Lizzy Gardens Litter Pick

Hello, I’m Alice and I’m 13 years old. I am trying to arrange a day of litter-picking for our local community. I recently took a trip to Elizabeth Gardens and noticed glass, bottles, plastic and general rubbish. There is presumably someone who clears up the area daily, due to COVID-19, but I have noticed more and more the river isn’t being cleared, and it is only the play area and green being sanitised and cleared. I hope to make the river safe for children to run round and have fun, without parents having to worry about glass and plastic in it. Bin bags will be provided but you will have to bring your own gloves- and/or litter-pickers. This is still in the process of arrangement with the council, but please keep an eye on my posts, as I will have a date and time soon.
