Lydiard Millicent Luncheon Club
Our luncheon club is one of the few social activities held in The Parish Hall Lydiard Millicent for the residents of the civil parish. It has been running for nearly 34 years thanks to the organizers Peta Guest and Joan Redford and their many helpers. Following the forced closure from Covid -19 the club has not been able to get back to full activity and is in urgent need of at least two voluntary (unpaid) cooks/chefs. Preferably, one of these should have catering experience and organizing skills.
Prior to this the Luncheon Club was meeting nearly every week on a Wednesday but recently reduced to twice a month. If anyone thinks they can commit to cooking for this long-standing organization then please contact me on: 01793770986 or jfwright@doctors.org.uk. The closing date for showing an interest &/or making an enquiry is 31st July 2022 because sadly a decision has to be made soon about the future of the club.
The committee looks forward to any genuine enquiry and offer of help.
Julian Wright (Chair of LMLC).
