Wiltshire Voices creates new youth choir in Burbage

19th October 2018, 10:33am | By Ros Griffiths |

Pound Arts, commissioned by Wiltshire Music Connect, is proud to be launching Wiltshire Voices; a countywide celebration of singing recognising existing choirs and singing groups whilst offering new and exciting performance opportunities for young singers across the county.

As part of the project, Pound Arts is creating four brand new choirs offering enthusiastic singers aged 12-18 the chance to be part of something new, fresh and exciting.

You’ll participate in a varied repertoire in preparation for several county-wide performance opportunities in inspiring locations as individual choirs and collaboratively, alongside opportunities to partner and perform with existing groups.

Meeting fortnightly in the following locations;

Burbage: Tuesdays 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Trowbridge: Mondays 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Salisbury: Tuesdays 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Corsham: Mondays 6.30pm – 8.30pm

For more information about your local choir and how to take part, contact choirs@poundarts.org.uk
