Sovereign Housing- a Community Engagement Model

16th November 2018, 9:15am | By Ros Griffiths |

Have you ever wanted to see change in your community?

Do you have an idea of what might help the people who live near you?

We are looking for residents and others who are:

  • Committed to where they live
  • Passionate about the work Sovereign does
  • Would like to see change in their community
  • Have an idea of how their community could be improved

We support our volunteers with training to develop their skills and create sustainable projects and Community Action Groups.

We want to give you the skills, training and resources to make a sustainable difference to your community.

We can help with:

  • Up to £9,000 funding (£1,000 first year, £3,000 second year,£5,000 third year)
  • Training opportunities
  • Advice and guidance
  • Access to marketing support and printing portal

Our Community Engagement Groups provide a structured place for local conversations and feedback.

If you’d like to find out more or get involved, please contact our Community Engagement Officer Jenny Bowley on 07788 977636 or jenny.bowley@sovereign.org.uk
