Come and join us at your local Wiltshire Council leisure centre on Wednesday 25 September to take on the massive challenge of getting around the world in a single day!*

With all 10 Wiltshire Council leisure centres involved, we’re trying to ride, run, swim, row or walk, using leisure centre equipment, to see if we can reach this target to promote physical activity, being active and having fun in the process as part of National Fitness Day!

Simply log your distance on the tracking sheets in the centre on the day and we’ll provide a running commentary on our collective progress throughout the day on social media platforms as well as the final result in the days afterwards!

It’s about taking part, having fun and joining a community of Wiltshire people all doing the same thing irrespective of age, ability, gender or fitness level…proving that being more active is relevant and rewarding for us all.

Leisure centres involved are: Amesbury Sports Centre, Calne Leisure Centre, Devizes Leisure Centre, Durrington Swimming and Fitness Centre, Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre, Marlborough Leisure Centre, Nadder Centre, Springfield Community Campus, Tidworth Leisure Centre and The Vale Community Campus

Watch out on our social media platforms; Facebook @ActiveWiltshire and Twitter @Sport4Wiltshire for more information and updates on the day!

*Non-members can take part in this event by swimming if you have not had a gym induction.
