It’s Back: HWB Day in Devizes

20th May 2019, 9:38am | By David |

Devizes Rotary, working in partnership with the Devizes Area Health and Wellbeing Group, and supported by Wiltshire Council, is hosting the second DCA HWB Day from 11am – 3pm on Saturday 15th June 2019 on the Small Green in Devizes.

Once again the aim of the day is to provide visitors with information about the health and well being activities and services that are available for adults in the area, and to enable all the charities, clubs and other community groups that provide those services the chance to promote, and demonstrate what they do.  Already we have nearly 60 local groups and organisations signed up. There will also be displays and demonstrations throughout the day in our arena, including chances to have a go at Zumba, take a dance class or shoot an arrow with Devizes Bowmen.

Last year we had a fantastic day with many hundreds of visitors coming to see what activities and services were on offer from over 50 organisations, so why not make a note of the time and date and come along to see for yourself what’s available to you and your families.

For further information about the day, including the full list of displays and demonstrations,  please go to https://dcawellbeingday.wordpress.com/
