Pewsey and Tidworth Area Boards have again received funding from Wiltshire Council to support local organisations, community groups and projects.
Despite the constraints on public sector funding, we are delighted that the grant budgets are very similar to the previous year. Funding is available from three different streams:
- Capital projects – A capital item is one that is tangible, with a reasonable value and lifespan. For example new equipment or an extension.
- Youth Funding – This is to support positive activities for local young people aged 13 and over
- Health and wellbeing – This is to support local initiatives that aim to improve the health and wellbeing of older people within our communities.
If you would like to discuss a possible grant then please speak to Richard Rogers (Community engagement manager) at:

The guidance and application forms can be found on-line at http://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/council-democracy-area-boards

a) £50 per day for general volunteers
b) £100 per day where technical or professional advice is provided e.g. architect drawing up plans.
c) A maximum of 25% of the total project costs
If you have previously received a grant, we would love you to come back and tell us about how it was spent. If you are willing to dos o, then please again contact Richard Rogers
