We’re delighted to be able to share the outline programme of events for #SalisburyAFD. We still have some acts and timings to confirm, but as you can see, it’s a packed schedule and we can’t wait for you all to enjoy it!

Attractions and activities include:

Military village

Main arena

Business village

Children’s activities, arts and crafts, charity stands,

STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) village

BBC Wiltshire stage

Blue light village

Performances on the main stage by the Shine for Salisbury competition winners Duck n Cuvver, The Treblemakers and Salisbury Rock Choir.

Friday 28 June – celebrating our serving military personnel and their families

Showground open from 2pm for an afternoon and evening of entertainment and activities.

Free barbecue from 5pm for serving military personnel and their families. Tickets are now available via theTickets For Troops website.

Enjoy live entertainment on the main stage, including headliners The Feeling, hosted by our platinum sponsor KBR Aspire Defence.

Saturday 29 June – community day 

Military parade in the city centre on Saturday morning

Watch the parade on big screens at Hudson’s Field

Military demonstrations and displays in the main arena

Air show supported by Old Sarum Airfield

BBC Wiltshire village with local musicians performing 3pm- 6.30pm, BBC bus, The Listening Project

Enjoy live entertainment on the main stage, hosted by our platinum sponsor Lovell.

Fireworks finale

Sunday 30 June – celebrating our veterans and cadets those who have served and those who may serve

Commemoration and drumhead service, supported by Royal British Legion, with the Bishop of Salisbury and padres

Join us to create a world record attempt for the largest human poppy

Afternoon tea for veterans

Bjorn Again will be performing the hits of ABBA

BBC Wiltshire stage with local musicians performing 3pm-6.30pm, BBC Bus, The Listening Project
