The summer months combined with the Covid restrictions provided many opportunities for Members to hold sessions outdoors. We undertook four projects since our last note in July and all of these projects had something to do with cars and the Community!
Our first project included full photo and video coverage of the Opening Ceremony of Burbage’s ESSO garage. Members shot hundreds of images together with a video record which has received over four hundred hits and is still available on YouTube. Our second project was to photograph many vintage cars that are located in Burbage. By kind permission of Mr Jim Spruler, we were able to shoot two vintage and one classic era cars.
The third project was to cover the Ford Model T Rally organised by Wiltshire Wander and by kind courtesy of Mr Steve Gibbons of Great Bedwyn we covered the Rally with still photographs and a video length. There are two versions of the video and both are available on YouTube on these links: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_pgJBL_U4xI&t=60s and
Our last project during the summer months was an exercise in Action Photography and by kind permission of the Management of Tottenham House for access to the main driveway, Mr Robert Cooper for providing a Porsche car and Mr Steve Gibbons who provided a Ford Model T car for our use.
We are hoping to hold an indoor session at our regular venue in the Burbage British Legion Hall on Wednesday, 21st October at 19:30 hours. The session will be held with strict compliance of Covid regulations.
