Bunting, made up of complimentary comments from many visitors, festooned the Pewsey Vale Community Crafts and Tearoom on October 23rd, the date of it’s 25th Anniversary.
Mary Ward, one of the founder members was there to join in the silver celebrations and cut the special cake which was shared, together with a glass of fizz, between past and current volunteers alike. Memories were swapped, and everyone hoped that the Tea Room will go on for another 25 years at least – not only does it provide a warm and welcoming place to be, a place for local and newcomers to meet, it has also raised over £96, 000 for local charities.
If you would like to be part of this wonderful Community service – perhaps serving tea and cakes, or a cake maker, or Day manager, or even if you are handy with facilitating maintenance needs, then you would be welcomed with open arms – just pop into the Tearoom for more details.
