2020 – Be your best!

2nd January 2020, 12:10pm | By David |

A new year brings new beginnings and – of course – resolutions to commit to a heathier 2020.

At Wiltshire Council leisure centres, we can help you to take the first step to a healthier you, and whether you want to join the gym, start swimming or join in with an exciting range of fitness classes, we’ll be there to support you on your fitness journey.

We recognise that it can be daunting to take the first steps on a fitness journey, but there are lots of people like you who have been in exactly the same position, and have changed their lives at Wiltshire Council leisure centres.

One member said: “Joining the gym has changed my life. I’ve seen huge benefits to my health, a massive confidence boost and I’m six stone lighter!” Another member said: “I have seen huge improvements in my fitness, I am sleeping better, I have dropped more than two dress sizes and feel more confident as a result.”

Others enjoy health benefits: “My blood pressure has come down to near normal, which considering I have had high blood pressure for years is amazing! My weight has dropped and I have reduced my body fat. I am super happy with my results and my mood and energy is better now than it has been for years.”

Wiltshire Council manages leisure centres in Amesbury, Calne, Corsham, Devizes, Durrington, Marlborough, Pewsey, Salisbury, Tidworth and Tisbury, and offers a variety of flexible memberships to suit your requirements and needs from as little as £17.50 per month.

Our memberships enable members to use all our leisure centres, so you can access different group exercise classes at different centres or different facilities, such as health suites, swimming pools and saunas, at different centres around the county.

To find out more, pop into your local leisure centre and speak to the friendly staff, or go to www.wiltshire.gov.uk/leisure-memberships.
