Transform a Life

20th May 2019, 4:28pm | By David Williams |

About 5% of adults in the UK have a reading age of 5 or less. For those who struggle with reading, tasks such as shopping and watching TV can be very difficult.

Read Easy is a charity which has branches around the UK and its volunteers are helping adults with poor reading skills. Tuition is confidential, free, fun and one-to-one. We aim to make learning an enjoyable experience.

Read Easy Melksham is one of many groups which are helping to transform peoples’ lives through literacy.

The branch in Melksham wants to recruit additional people to its friendly and lively Management Team. The team provides backup to coaches who actually do the teaching. Management tasks are varied and interesting.

If you are interested, please contact David Williams to arrange an informal chat. Telephone 07939 556541 or e-mail melksham@readeasy.org.uk.
