23rd October 2020, 11:42am | By Peter Dunford |

Melksham Area Board meeting on Wednesday 4 November at 7pm, will host a presentation and Q&A session for people interested in the proposals for a bypass on the A350 at Melksham.

The meeting will be held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions, but people can easily sign up to hear more about the proposals.

A full agenda for the meeting will be available on the Wiltshire Council website https://cms.wiltshire.gov.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=166&MId=13147&Ver=4 a week before the meeting. To request a online link to participate in the meeting, please email committee@wiltshire.gov.uk

The proposed bypass will be the first item on the agenda, and there will be a presentation, followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

Cllr Bridget Wayman, Cabinet Member for Highways, said: “I’d urge anyone with an interest in the proposed Melksham bypass to attend Melksham Area Board to hear more about the proposals, and to find out more about the various route options.

“Anyone who can’t make it will be able to find out more on our website, which will host more information, FAQs and a link to the survey, where people can give their views on the scheme proposals and the route options.”

From 5 November the survey and all accompanying information documents, plus FAQs, will be available on the Wiltshire Council website. The survey will run until 23:59 on Monday 30 November 2020.
