White Horse Walk – charity event

20th August 2019, 11:41am | By Talitha Scott | Event Date : 20190921

On Saturday 21st September 2019, groups of families, friends and colleagues will be walking, running or ambling their way around a 13 mile circular route in order to raise money for the life-saving Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

The walk will start at Blackland Lakes near Calne and will encompass the White Horses at Cherhill and Devizes as well as some truly stunning scenery. The trek will conclude with a celebratory BBQ provided by The Rapid Relief Team, a global charity that provides care and compassion to those in need. All services will be provided on a no-fee basis so that Wiltshire Air Ambulance receives the maximum donation possible.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance provides a vital service to the people of Wiltshire (and surrounding areas) but receives no government funding and relies on public support to save lives.

Those interested in taking part in this year’s event can find out more and register at https://whitehorsechallenge.weebly.com/
