Children’s Social Workers – Find Your Future

16th August 2019, 3:34pm | By David | Event Date : 20190921

Wiltshire Council are organising a Social Work Open Event which will be held on Saturday 21st September 2019.

The purpose of the event is to invite social workers within the Families and Children’s workforce to find out more about what it’s like to work at Wiltshire Council. We would also like to give anyone looking to return to social work after a career break the opportunity to take the first steps into doing this.

The day will involve a talk on Children and Risk from our guest speaker Stefan Kleipoedzsus, a Programme Leader of a Qualifying Social Work programme at Bournemouth University, a choice of two workshops and a chance to talk to some our current social workers.

If you are interested, please register via our Eventbrite page as we will be sending out details as we get closer to the date. We hope you see you there.
