Cooking Volunteer

13th August 2021, 8:08am | By Annie Clayton |

Alzheimer’s Support is an award-winning charity which works to improve the life of families affected by dementia.

Lunchtime is a focal point of our day at our club in Trowbridge and we are looking for cooking volunteers to help support this vital activity.  You will prepare simple healthy meals for up to 28 people with food supplied by FareShare, Tesco and other supporters.

You will be boiling, chopping, frying, mixing, peeling, serving and washing up. But you will also be having fun with possible help from other volunteers, staff or club members!

This role would suit someone with a general interest in cooking or is considering this as a career,

The club is open Tuesday to Friday each week, however, your commitment can be one day a week, a month or as negotiated with our club manager.  Ideally you would need to be available between 10am – 1pm.

To find out more or register your interest visit our website volunteer sign-up or phone Annie Clayton on 01985 624 005
