u3a in Kennet News

8th April 2021, 8:08pm | By John Martin |

u3a is an organisation which offers its members the opportunity to make the most of life once they’re no longer in full time work by exploring new ideas, skills and interests.  Locally u3a in Kennet has around 600 members from Marlborough and the surrounding area and has over 60 interest groups ranging from Art History to Wine Appreciation, Walking to Table Tennis and lots more besides.  There is a monthly Coffee Exchange where members can get together, hear the latest news and listen to a local speaker.  Four times a year we have a more significant speaker event – the Kennet u3a Talks.  Non-members are welcome to attend either of these (both are being held virtually at the moment).  To receive a Zoom invitation, please contact the Chairman at chairman@u3ainkennet.org.uk
